NC Candidate Thom Tillis Is Hiding Anti-Gun Agenda

Here in NC, one of the hottest races is for the Republican candidate's position to take on anti-gun Senator Kay Hagan in November.
Gun owners and Patriots should be careful who they cast their lots in with.
Thom Tillis is no friend of the NC gun owner, as this press release from the Nation Association For Gun Rights shows:

Dear Fellow Patriot,
If ever there was a time for gun owners to charge up a hill together to reclaim the high ground from our anti-gun enemies, it's right now.
And the person standing atop that hill in North Carolina is radical anti-gun Democrat U.S. Senator Kay Hagan.
But I'm afraid I've got some bad news.
One of the candidates running against her, Thom Tillis, is showing serious signs he'd be an anti-gun vote in the U.S. Senate, too
Thom Tillis refused to return his National Association for Gun Rights candidate survey.
What's he hiding?
After holding politicians' feet to the fire for twenty five years, I've learned when they refuse to answer specific questions on your Second Amendment Rights, it virtually always means they're hiding anti-gun views.
Thom Tillis' refusal isn't surprising either.
Under his leadership in the North Carolina House of Representatives, Speaker Thom Tillis helped kill a proposal to eliminate the draconian permit-to-purchase requirement.
Do you like having to beg the government for permission in order to purchase a firearm and exercise your Second Amendment rights?
You have Thom Tillis' failed leadership to blame.
*** When it really counted, Thom Tillis bowed to pressure by radical anti-gun lobbyists and REFUSED to allow this important pro-gun reform to become law last year.
*** Instead, to protect the anti-gun views of some of his fellow lawmakers, he let permit-to-purchase repeal be stripped from House Bill-937 without lifting a finger.
*** Tillis also resisted Restaurant Carry as long as he possibly could claiming "The idea of a concealed-carry in an Applebee's bothered people."
Believe me, gutting pro-gun bills virtually never "just happens" without orders from the top. If Tillis wanted serious pro-gun reforms, the permit-to-purchase would be toast.

So, just what other anti-gun schemes would a Senator Thom Tillis cave-in to?
Would Thom Tillis support an "expanded" or so-called "universal" Background Check scheme, or the dreaded U.N. "Small Arms Treaty?"
Would Thom Tillis support funneling more law-abiding Americans into the Brady National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS), using "Mental Health" as an excuse to strip you of your gun rights -- for life -- without due process?

We don't know because Thom Tillis refused to answer these questions
Now, sometimes folks assume that just because a politician is a Republican that he is a solid supporter of the Second Amendment.
I hope you don't make that mistake with State House Speaker Thom Tillis.
You see, you and I were just one or two votes away from losing our right to keep and bear arms during last year's gun control fight in the U.S. Senate.
The 2013 debate over the Fienstein "Assault Weapons" ban and the Toomey-Manchin "Expanded Background Check" bill were the largest assaults on our Second Amendment rights in nearly twenty five years.
And it was weak-kneed Republicans who very nearly gave the green light to this key part of Barack Obama's anti-gun agenda.
Sixteen of them voted AGAINST the filibuster led by pro-gun U.S. Senators Rand Paul and Mike Lee in order to allow the gun control debate to move forward in the U.S. Senate.
We very nearly lost this battle.
And the kicker is, several supposedly "A" rated Senators -- Senators who spent years giving gun owners lip-service -- were to blame!
That's why your National Association for Gun Rights surveys every candidate for federal office with very specific questions about your gun rights.
Now there is good news:
Republican candidate Dr. Greg Brannon has made it clear he won't put up with that nonsense.
Dr. Brannon is running for the Republican nomination against Speaker Thom Tillis.
Dr. Greg Brannon not only returned his National Association for Gun Rights Federal Candidate Survey 100% pro-gun, he's enthusiastically promised to do every thing he can as a U.S. Senator to:
*** Restore the Second Amendment rights of all Americans by working to abolish EVERY unconstitutional federal gun law currently on the books;
*** Defeat the United Nations' "Small Arms Treaty." Dr. Brannon opposes ALL attempts by the United Nations to regulate firearms, and pledges to fight to cut taxpayer funding that props up the U.N.'s anti-gun agenda;
*** Block all efforts by the federal government to further infringe on the gun rights of the people of the state of North Carolina;
*** Stop any attempt by Barack Obama or Dianne Feinstein to reinstate the so-called "Assault Weapons Ban;"
*** Block a National Gun Registry. Anti-gunners are screaming for a way to track as many gun owners as possible, but Greg Brannon will oppose each and every one of the gun-grabbers schemes to dump the names of gun owners into a national gun registry.
That's exactly the type of leadership gun owners need!
Dr. Greg Brannon returned his survey 100% pro-gun and also filled out his legislative leadership pledge.
And so did candidate Ted Alexander. Candidate Edward Kryn returned his survey pro-gun, but refused to pledge to be a solid pro-gun leader. Candidates Jim Snyder and Mark Harris returned their surveys, but negligently left half of the questions blank.
Even Democratic candidate Will Stewart returned his survey.

So why is Thom Tillis dodging gun owners?
With so much at stake, I'm really going above-and-beyond to make sure every person in North Carolina who cares about the Second Amendment knows exactly where their candidates stand.
That's why I'm counting on good folks like you to help turn up the heat on Thom Tillis.
But there isn't much time. Here's what you can do:
1.) Thank Republican candidate Dr. Greg Brannon for pledging his 100% support and leadership for your right to keep and bear arms;
2.) Give Thom Tillis an earful! Urge him to apologize for saving the permit-to-purchase law in North Carolina and insist he answer his National Association for Gun Rights Candidate Survey right away.
And, if you can afford to, please also consider chipping-in $15 or $20 to NAGR using the form below so we can reach as many liberty-loving gun owners in North Carolina as possible.
Thank you for taking action!
